On Sunday, Rabbi Yoshi, his wife Jacqueline Hantgan, and their three daughters completed the New York City Marathon, running to raise money for paralysis research. Believed to be the first nuclear family to run the marathon together, they ran as Team Handsome Hank, in memory of Jacqueline’s late father Henry Hantgan, who was confined to a wheelchair for the last 10 years of his life.
Together, the seven members of Team Handsome Hank raised over $50,000, nearly doubling their original goal. That money will benefit the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, which has raised over $500,000 in total, making this the best New York Marathon yet for the foundation’s fundraising efforts, which are still ongoing.
