Mazel Tov on the newest addition to your family! If you are expecting a boy, you may be considering a brit milah (bris) for your son. This rituals, which typically occurs 8 days after birth, represents the formal entry into the covenant of the Jewish people and the naming of your son, linking him to his family and to the traditions of our people. For boys, this ceremony includes the timeless ceremony of circumcision, performed by a specially-trained mohelSome families opt for a hospital circumcision followed by a public naming ceremony, and we are happy to share this experience with you as well.
