Stephen Wise Temple is proud to partner with Jewish organizations throughout Los Angeles to present Baraye Iran | For Iran, a community-wide show of support in solidarity for the people of Iran as Jewish, Iranian, and multi-faith community members across the city convene for an evening of learning, dialogue, and inspiration.
The panel discussion will take place in the Gindi Auditorium at American Jewish University, right across the street from Wise. Stephen Wise Temple Senior Rabbi Yoshi Zweiback will be in attendance.
Rabbi Tarlan Rabizadeh—a friend of the Wise community, a Wise School alumna, AJU’s Vice President for Jewish Engagement, and the Director of Student Life at UCLA Hillel—will moderate a panel of distinguished speakers on what has led to the current Iranian revolution with Gen Z+ women at the forefront, why this humanitarian crisis matters to the Jewish community, and where we go from here.
There is no cost to attend, but due to space limitations RSVPs are required. No walk-ins will be admitted. There will be a dessert reception at 5 p.m., with the event beginning promptly at 6 p.m. Ample free parking will be available.
Please submit your questions for the panelists in your RSVP.
COVID COMPLIANCE: All visitors to the AJU campus will be asked to show proof of vaccination prior to being admitted to the venue.
