Wednesday, September 13, at 7 p.m. | Online| Register
Join us for an evening discussion for the Bradley Sonnenberg Wellness Series with Sarah Waxman, the passionate founder and CEO of At The Well. ATW is a nonprofit organization on a mission to enhance women’s wellbeing and wholeness through Jewish practice. Sarah will share her journey of mental health, body dysphoria, and isolation, and how Jewish wisdom and Judaism played a transformative role in her healing.
Through her own story, At The Well was created and now serves thousands of people all over the world. Sarah will share some of the principles and tools that have empowered her and her work, including how to cultivate a deep source of spiritual connection through the body and through marking spiritual time. This evening should be fun, meaningful, and evoke a sense of belonging within the Stephen Wise Temple community.
About Sarah Waxman: As founder and CEO, Sarah has guided At The Well from a grassroots initiative to a global-reaching network for Jewish health and wellness. Under her leadership since 2015, At The Well currently serves thousands of women and non-binary people around the world enabling them to find wholeness and well-being rooted in ancient Jewish practices.
Sarah creates and leads trainings rooted in Torah teachings for Jewish professionals, health providers, committed students, and spiritual seekers. With the intention to interpret ancient wisdom for multi-generations amidst modern-day challenges, her teachings are accessible, inspirational, and strongly grounded in spiritual practice.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Sarah holds numerous certifications in integrative nutrition and mindfulness training. She is a nationally-ranked champion athlete, winning the Ivy League’s 2008 Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Year Award, and being inducted into Penn’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 2019.
