Wisdom from this week’s Torah portion, Kedoshim.
The parasha begins with “you shall be holy, for I , your God am Holy”. This portion is found directly in the center of the TORAH and profoundly rich in prescriptions of how to accomplish this goal.
Here are today’s thoughts for becoming more holy:
Do not bear a grudge.
Don’t take revenge.
Don’t spread gossip about others.
Let’s work on our own holiness as we approach the Festival of Shavuot, the receiving of the Ten Commandments at Mount Sinai.
Today is the 18th day of the Omer.
