“It’s amazing. My kids love it. There are no more arguments about getting up on a Sunday morning, and my children are discovering what matters most to us—Jewish community and Jewish values.”

Sunday School. Hebrew School. Religious School.

For more than two hundred years, the word used to describe our efforts to give children the priceless gift of Jewish community, traditions, and values has been one more commonly associated with tests, blackboards, and homework. Maybe it’s time to change that.

At our Camp Wise Sundays program, there are no classrooms, no textbooks, no pens or pencils. Rather, students experience the joys of Judaism through summer camp style adventures that teach and reinforce our heritage and values. From the basketball court to the climbing wall to krav maga, students put the teachings of our tradition to practice, using Jewish principles to guide their play and exploration.

With our next Camp Wise Sunday set for Sunday, November 21, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., now is the time to contact us to learn how Camp Wise Sundays can become an uplifting, meaningful part of your child’s (or grandchild’s) Jewish journey. We’re looking forward to seeing you soon.
