The first in the Global Thought Leader Series on Our World Evolving, presented by Temple Etz Chaim, will feature a Pulitzer Prize winner, a New York Times bestselling author, and one of the world’s Top 10 Public Intellectuals (Foreign Policy) in Professor Jared Diamond. His 2019 book Upheaval is the final installment in a sweeping trilogy that began with Guns, Germs, and Steel—a series the Times calls “one of the most significant projects embarked upon by any intellectual of our generation.”
Prof. Diamond will give his talk at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center, Janet and Ray Scherr Forum Theatre in Thousand Oaks.
