In the interests of supporting our diverse community, the Stephen Wise Temple Center for Tikkun Olam and Rabbi Ron Stern would like to raise awareness of a new mental health support group for LGBTQ+ Jewish teens.
JQ International, in partnership with the Jewish Federation Los Angeles, BTHS & LAJTI, is offering an inaugural virtual drop-in mental health support group for LGBTQ+ Jewish teens in California. Held the second Monday of every month from 5-6 p.m., starting on Sept. 12, the group will discuss issues surrounding mental health, stress management, social relationships, identity development, and more.
Registration is based on a suggested donation of $125 per participant for the series, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds and health insurance will not be billed. RSVP and parental consent are required to attend.
