Lauren Roth just completed her third year of cantorial school at the Debbie Friedman School of Sacred Music in New York and is now completing her year as an education student at the Rhea Hirsch School of Education in Los Angeles. Lauren received her Bachelor of Music from Mason Gross/Rutgers University in 2015 where she was an active member in both the Jewish and music communities. A native New Yorker, Lauren grew up as a dedicated congregant at Congregation Beth Elohim in Brooklyn, N.Y., where she also worked as a full-time educator for four years. There, Lauren created curriculum, served as a classroom teacher, and led weekly Shabbat morning services and High Holiday services. During her free time, Lauren enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
