Rachel is so excited to be working in the CYE Office! After growing up in Los Angeles and attending religious school at Stephen Wise Temple, she attended Brandeis University, where she studied Psychology and Hispanic Studies. While in Boston, Rachel held a number of internship positions, and worked at Temple Shalom of Newton as an Inclusion Aide. Upon graduation in 2017, Rachel returned to sunny Los Angeles and worked as Field Trip Coordinator and Drama Specialist at Camp Wise. Since then, she has worked in the non-profit and educational sectors, as well as volunteered in crisis intervention counseling. Rachel is in her second (and final!) year of Master’s in Social Work (MSW) program at University of Southern California, and interns at a county hospital in Sylmar during the week. In her spare time, Rachel loves to hang out with her cats, Milton and Eloise, and cheer on the Dodgers. She is so grateful to be back working with such a great team of educators, and looks forward to a wonderful year!
