Reuben Bank is excited to begin his second year as the Wise Religious School songleader! Outside of Wise, he is a second-year law student at UCLA School of Law. He is originally from Los Angeles, and as a high schooler, was active in NFTY and spent meaningful summers at URJ Camp Newman, where he learned how to songlead. He earned his bachelor’s degree from George Washington University in political science with a public policy focus. While at GWU he worked as a Hebrew tutor and fifth grade teacher at Temple Micah and spent part of his junior year studying at Tel Aviv University, which helped his fluency in Hebrew.  For fun, Reuben is an avid rock climber and ultimate frisbee player.
