Cantor Sara Anderson, daughter of Joyce and Kevin Anderson, received her ordination on Sunday, May 8, by HUC-JIR in New York. Sarah grew up at Wise, and interned here during her time at HUC.
Rabbi Elana Rabishaw, daughter of former Stephen Wise Temple Rabbi Alan Rabishaw, received her ordination on Sunday, May 15, by HUC-JIR in Los Angeles. She was raised as part of the Stephen Wise Temple family and attended Wise School.
Rabbi Brett Weisman, an associate educator for Wise School and our Center for Youth Engagement, received his ordination on Sunday, May 15, by HUC-JIR in Los Angeles.
Kathline Finkelstein, an associate educator with our Center for Youth Engagement, received her master’s in Jewish Education from AJU on Sunday, May 15 in Los Angeles.
Malcom McElheney, our resident educator, received his master’s in Jewish Leadership, Jewish Learning, and Nonprofit Management from HUC-JIR on Monday, May 16 in Los Angeles.
