Stephen Wise Temple Red Cross Blood Drive
Thursday, May 18 | 10 a.m.-4 p.m. | Udko Room | Sign Up

Two days before our black and white gala, the Stephen Wise Temple and Schools community will be sporting a different color: red. On May 18, we will host our annual spring blood drive, looking to build on an impressive blood donation record over the last three years.

Since March of 2020, Stephen Wise Temple and Schools’ Red Cross blood drives have helped hundreds of people in need. Our December blood drive collected 30 unites of blood for the Red Cross, upping our community’s total to 271 pints collected since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. With each unit capable of saving up to three lives, Wise has donated enough blood to save 813 lives. With our nation still facing its worst blood shortage in over a decade, it’s time to do our part again.

The Red Cross team follows strict guidelines to ensure that giving blood is safe and effective. Appointments are required, no walk-ins will be allowed, and social distancing and safe hygiene practices will be in place.

Please join us and give the gift of life! Each donation can save up to three lives. To make your appointment, please click here to sign up for your spot or contact Nina Minton via phone at 818.200.3445 or via email at [email protected]. While we encourage you to make an appointment, the Red Cross will accept walk-ins, provided there is enough time and not all slots have been filled.
