Join us for an interesting discussion on the concept of “damages” as explored in the Torah and what purpose they serve in our modern-day civil justice system. We will take a look at the history of damages under Jewish law and then go into a discussion about how the concept of damages (nezikin) in Jewish law has evolved into modern day torts.
